Lake Ontario - Freshwater Fishing Report

Today is Wednesday December 25, 2013.
Well we've had snow, rain and an ice storm so far this week.
All of the tributaries within Orleans County are high, muddy and pretty well blown out.
With temperatures for the rest of the week staying right around the freezing mark and water levels beginning to drop, icing conditions should start occurring in the smaller tributaries.
No matter which tributary you try to fish you are going to find limbs down for the ice storm so really watch your step.
Even with all the bad weather, fair catches of both Steelhead/Rainbow trout and Brown trout are being caught.
With this holiday week, fishing pressure is at a low point so there is plenty of room for you to enjoy all that Orleans County has to offer.
From Point Breeze on Lake Ontario, the World Fishing Network's 2013 Ultimate Fishing Town USA and the rest of Orleans County, Let's make everyday a great fishing day right here in Orleans County.
