New York Fishing Report for Lake Ontario and Salmon River

Capt. Troy Creasy
April 7, 2002
Salmon River - Freshwater Fishing Report

Current Water Conditions: High and Cold

The salmon river is still running at 1800 cfs, and it is real cold. We were doing good until this weather turned and dropped the water temp to 33 degrees. When this water warms and the fish drop from the hatchery, we will have some real hot fishing. We all thought the season would end early, but now it seems we are right on track.

I still have April 8 and 9 open. I should keep a day off, but it's steelhead season.

High Adventure Sportfishing is currently taking reservations for Spring, Summer and Fall, Lake and River charters. Relieve some stress and spend the day on the water with family and friends.
