Fall Fishing Is Beginning

Capt. Richard Bennett

Wrightsville Beach - Saltwater Fishing Report

Hi Folks,
It is very windy here and I finally have time to post a report.
INSHORE: Reds and flounder are biting well on live bait.
NEAR SHORE: Spanish macks and blues are biting trolled rigs and flounder are biting at the near shore reefs.
OFFSHORE: Kings are biting from 10 miles out to 25 miles in the usual area. Live bait is best, but cigars and ballyhoo work well too.
GULF STREAM: For those boat getting out the wahoo bite along with blackfin tuna and some sails are keeping the action going.
CAPE FEAR: Trout, reds and flounder are biting...better and better as the water cools.
Until Next Time>>>Let's Go Fishing!!!
