Big Dorado Fillets Take Over Grill !!

Capt. Bob Baker
December 1, 2010
Boca Chica - Saltwater Fishing Report

As if we didn't have severe problems with TOO MANY BLACK MARLIN AND YELLOW FIN TUNA, now anglers are being forced to fight, and in some cases EAT delicious dorado fillets! What an outrage.

We had an excellent day on the Costa Rica side, off Punta Banco( 6 miles), on tuna and dorado this past Sunday, and had two marlin hooked and jumping for short fights. They won, but we were still happy for the airshows.

Still a bit damp at times, but with fishing this great, who cares about a little rain, eh?

Things will improve soon, both in fish numbers and variety of species, and in weather conditions.

Took a 23 kilo roosterfish on a live sardina on the same trip, and 3 medium-sized pargos came off the bottom.

The rooster was returned safely after a brief photo op. Pargos not so lucky.

Good Fishing!, Wherever You Are in the World !!
