Boca Chica - Saltwater Fishing Report
Anglers casting large poppers into surface- feeding schools of big yellowfin tuna are faring exceptionally well in the currents off Isla Montuosa. The Hannibal Bank, and just outside Isla Ladrones are also producing some impressive catches.
Black MARLIN are also present in good numbers, and slow-trolling a circle hooked, nose -bridled small tuna, bonito, or skipjack are getting good results.
DORADO are present also, and hit the poppers, smaller plastics, live blue runners, and jigs.
Weather is fair and seas calm. Anglers should pack a quality rainsuit along with the regular gear.
Wahoo are being taken outside Isla Paridas,Isla SECAS , and Jicaron.
