Boca Chica - Saltwater Fishing Report
Summer here in Panama and Costa Rica's southern zone is really pretty hard to beat. And the fishing goes right along with the weather. In a word, FABULOUS !
Lots and lots of Marlin around. Sailfishing, whether with fly or conventional tackle is excellent. DORADO are doing O.K, but we could always use more to keep the grills humping.
TUNA remain very strong around Isla Coiba, Isla Montuosa, and around Isla Ladrones.
Inshore and reef species, roosterfish, snappers, groupers, African pompano, amberjack, are hitting jigs, live and cut bait with gusto.
