Boca Chica - Saltwater Fishing Report
After a VERY impressive BLACK MARLIN run in Au./Sept., with a lot of YELLOW FIN TUNA in the bag, it's now time to have the paint chewed off those rapala's and deep tremblers....Outside Islas Paridas is one of the best spots for these toothy (and Grill-icious) fighters But, they are spread everywhere....DORADO are a bit spotty at times, but they are out there..Found a nice bunch under a big ,floating tree trunk last week, outside Isla Ladrones, and we even picked a few up on flies..
Sr. Mariano Caballero, from Argentina, set a new fly-caught record for Playa Zancudo when he took an 80 lb. yellowfin on an 11 wt. fly flinger, and enjoyed 4 days of virtually non-stop action on sailfish, and yellowfin....Mariano had two nice marlin come to the teasers , but they were only slashing , not really hungry He promised to come back next year...with friends..
Inshore for snok , snapper , and all the usual suspects remains strong..
Good Fishing, WHEREVER you are in the world !!
