Yellowfin Top Pick, Dorado Close Second

Capt. Bob Baker
January 12, 2016
Boca Chica - Saltwater Fishing Report

Cool water coming up via the Humbolt Current are keeping the huge bait schools around, and that means the yellowfin tuna continue to feed and fatten up. Best spots are The Hannibal Bank. Off Isla Coiba and Isla Montuosa. Surface poppers and butterfly jigs rule the day. Pack your back brace, these are BIG fish !
DORADO NUMBERS continue to rise, and most anyplace from Isla Ladrones down to Isla Jicarita are producing fish.
Marlin and Sailfish are both prowling these spots. Live bait , bridled and slow trolled, will bring the marlin in, and sails are hitting plastics with Panama Baits sewn behind a skirt.
Inshore or deep offshore reefs are the tickets for big CUBERA snapper, roosterfish, and many other species.
Call me at (506)8423-4552, or send an email and I will Arrange your trip. Just tell me the dates, how many days you want to fish, and how many anglers, and I will get you on the water and hooked up !
Good Fishing , Whereveer You are in the World !!
