Hannibal Bank - Saltwater Fishing Report

Yellowfin tuna is a highly prized catch in the Sport, many say "pound for pound" Yellowfin Tuna is one of the most challenging catches. 
During the first quarter 2020 we had 35 groups fishing with us & 1 large group of 24 anglers. Clients had an incredible time with sunny days, calm sea and lots of Marlin and Tuna Action early season. In February massive schools of Yellowfin Tuna start migrating through the Gulf of Chiriqui. They feed on spawning squid, baitfish and Sardines. Panama Tuna fishing typically starts around mid Feb around Hannibal Bank and Isla Montuosa . Early May the YellowFin season officially peaks however the action can last thru mid August, so there is a good window to experience one of the most exciting challenges. Come experience the Panama washing machine action as the Tuna's wildly feed on bait balls they have pushed to the surface. Our  Captains at Panama Nautical Club are all very experienced and passionate about their fishing.  If you are planning a Panama Fishing Trip and need some advice please don't hesitate to contact us.
