Susquehanna River - Freshwater Fishing Report

Susquehanna river bass fishing has been great, even though we have had to fight some seriously windy conditions. The fish are now post spawn and are getting more active. We have had quite a few 20"+ fish, but they are just starting to eat again so most are long and fairly thin in comparison to normal. Various jerkbaits and spinnerbaits have been the hot baits, dependant on water color and conditions.
The flatheads have switched to nocturnal mode, so our evening trips are chilly ones. Still no monsters to report, but a few 20 lb fish have been caught.
I only have a couple days open in May to fish with me. My associate guides are some of the best on the river to help put you on the fish if I am not available.
