Bill Wraps Fishing Report August Moon

The August moon went with a few tournaments and bites.
Congratulations to the crew of the Reel Affair and their win on the ABMT boys Scout Tournament, The Vega Baja tournament finally went on after their cancellation due to TS Bertha.

A few bites and a fish landed by Second Base a Dorado local with a 343 # fish congratulation to the crew. Also the Cangrejos Yacht club Blue Marlin Tournament went this past weekend. Boat ViViJagua took the top honors with three releases in two days of fishing, 22 boats 10 releases. This week the IBT 61 Starts with the full moon of September on the 8th.

Overall plenty of baits, Flying fish, Bonitos, skip jack.
outside in the trench birds will produce yellow fins and the blue marlin are mostly hitting out side the feeding frenzies and mostly blind strikes.
All the Mahi mahis landed have been in shallow water and specimens well under the 10#
