Fajardo - Saltwater Fishing Report

Bill Wraps Reporting again from The Island of Enchantment.

The Blue Marlin Tournament circuit began in the north shore of PR. The APDD ran its 31st edition of the Blue Marlin Classis 25 boats made 12 releases and one fish landed of 453# by Karla. Karla also took all the glory of the tournament with a total of two releases and the one landed fish of $5000.
Most of the bite occurred west of Dorado in the Vega Baja Arecibo Area.
Fished out of San Juan on the down side of the moon but no action for us, the Legend released one 350# and the rest of the month was table fish Yellowfin, Mahi, King macks, Wahoo.

The beginning of August gave us Bertha and the cancellation of the Vega Baja Tournament second leg of the triple crown of Blue marlin of the North shore of PR. The date still has not been posted.
