Big Tarpon 117 lbs

Capt. Armando Chaar
January 26, 2010
San Jose Lagoon - Saltwater Fishing Report

Hi Fisherman and Guides:
The Big Tarpon are in the Lagoon . On Friday January 15,2010 we went fishing with MR. Bill Moebius. We land a beautiful Tarpon. She was 65 inches long by 38 inches of Girth by formula is 117 lbs . We land this fish in 1 hrs and 30 minutes later. We were using 20 lbs test line. This is what Mr. Bill Moebius think about us:
"My family & I traveled to Puerto Rico for a wedding, and our day spent with Captain Armando was one the highlights of the weekend. The weather was tough, but the fishing was fantastic. I learned more about fishing in five hours with Magic Tarpon than I've learned in years, in particular landing a large fish on a light line. I recommend the guys at Magic Tarpon to anyone heading down to Puerto Rico in the near-term. I certainly felt the Magic!"
