Great Sight fishing for Redfish in Charleston SC

Capt. Chris Wilson
January 6, 2010
Charleston - Saltwater Fishing Report

Redfish are all over mud flats at low tides in huge numbers 100-500 fish in a school in a foot or less of water.I had some good trips between Xmas and New Years and one of the best days I have had with a client on the FLY.Dave.L from NC came down and went 26-31 Reds on the fly!!! nice Job!! crabby flies such as EP crabs and Merkin patterns seem to be working the best with long leaders.the water is gin clear so a good castand presentation is needed. Happy New Year!!
