Trout Fishing

Capt. Alex Pennekamp

Charleston - Saltwater Fishing Report

The trout fishing around the Charleston area is heating up. Targeting good current rips with live shrimp under popping corks seems to the most productive method. Fish are feeding heavily on mullet in deeper water, so artificial baits that look similar to mullet are a good choice. Find the moving water, and you will find the trout.
