Canyon Lake - Freshwater Fishing Report
LAKE BUCHANAN, TX.
LARGEMOUTH are very good to 7.5 lbs. in 4'-8' in creeks and pockets off the main lake using plastic jerkbaits, watermelon 1/4 oz. Terminator jigs with Killer Krawdad trailers and chameleon Scoundrel worms
on wack rigs. STRIPERS are good drifting live bait, trolling and vertically jigging 1 oz. Horizon Pirk Minnows and 1/2 oz. Curb's striper jigs in 14'-24' along main channels from The Willows uplake. WHITE BASS are good in creeks and uplake jigging 1/4 oz. Pirk Minnows, Tiny Traps and casting & trolling #1
#3 Terminator In-Line spinners.

LARGEMOUTH to 11 lbs. are very good in 2'-6' on blue/silver/chartreuse Terminator spinnerbaits, plastic jerkbaits, Scoundrel worms and Ice Tea Devil's
Tongues. CRAPPIE are excellent to 17" in 1'-3' on red/chartreuse Tiny Tubes on 1/32 oz. heads & white or
chartreuse 1/32 oz. Curb's crappie jigs and minnows.
WHITE BASS are good in 2'-5' on #1 or #3 Terminator In-Line spinners and 2" Lit'l Fishie Shads.
