Canyon Lake - Freshwater Fishing Report

CANYON LAKE
Water clear; 56.3 degrees; 909'
LARGEMOUTH are fair to good in 10'-15' of water along chunk rock banklines and sloping gravel points using a 4" SlidingWeight Craw Fish (www.slidingweight.com), 3/16 oz. pumpkin/brown Terminator Finesse Jigs w/Devil's Tongue or pork trailers and a 4" BBB Disc Worm (www.bigbitebaits.com). Try slowrolling a 3/4 or 1 oz. Heavy-T (www.terminatorlures.com) through submerged timber in 8'-15'.
STRIPERS AND WHITE BASS are good in 30'-40' on the end of points and over ridges and humps vertically jigging a 1/4 or 1/2 oz. Pirk Minnow or 2" Lit'l Fishie Shad.

LAKE BUCHANAN
Water clear; 54 degrees; 1014.94':
LARGEMOUTH are fair on main lake and secondary points in 8'-14' on a gray/blue flake slidingweight craw fish
(www.slidingweight.com), pumpkin Scoundrel worm and Devil's Tongues on drop shot rigs.
STRIPERS are good in 20'-40' drifting live bait or jigging Pirk Minnows. Trolling 1/2 oz. striper jigs and casting Berkely topwater walkers and 'Traps will produce.
