Canyon Lake - Freshwater Fishing Report

CANYON LAKE
Water clear; 54 degrees; 909'
LARGEMOUTH are good in 3'-8' on creek points and flats using a pumpkin BBB Disc Lizard (www.bigbitebaits.com),
1/4 oz. Rat-L-Traps, 4" pumpkin SlidingWeight Craw Fish
(www.slidingweight.com) and floating a 6" yellow or pink Scoundrel worms. Upriver, where water is 58 degrees, try a 4" watermeolon Super Tube Heavy (www.cremelure.com), 3/16 oz. Terminator Finesse Jigs or a soft jerkbait over flats on channel turns and down drains and ditches.
SMALLMOUTH are good in submerged trees in 14' on Tiny-T jigs, rootbeer or smoke grubs, 3" chartreuse Super Tubes and over rock piles in 8'-12' on chartreuse Tiny-T spinnerbaits and crawfish crankbaits.

LAKE LBJ
Water stained, 54 degrees, 825':
Black Bass are good in 4'-8' of water using 1/4 oz. Terminator spinnerbaits, crawfish or watermelon Super Tube Heavy and Devil's Tongues on drop shot rigs. Also productive are flaoting a Scoundrel worm and crawfish Rat-L-Traps in stump falts at mid-lake.
WHITE BASS are moving up both the Llano and Colorado Rivers. Trolling a No. 5 Shad Rap, casting a No. 3 Terminator In-Line spinner and 1 1/2" Lit'l Fishie
are all producing.
