Canyon Lake - Freshwater Fishing Report
LAKE LBJ: Water stained; 51 degrees; 824.97' :
Largemouth are fair in 5'-10' using pumpkin Devil's Tongues along rip rap, black/blue Sliding Weight Finesse Craw Fish (www.slidingweight.com)& blk/char. Terminator Finesse jigs (www.terminatorlures.com) and pork along docks with brushpiles.
White Bass are fair to good under birds around the LCRA park on 1/4 oz. Pirk Minnows, 2" Lit'l Fishie Shads (www.cremelure.com) and chrome/blue
Tiny Traps (www.rat-l-trap.com).

Black Bass are fair in 10' of water on black/blue Snap Back creature baits (www.terminatorlures.com), black/blue 4" BBB Disc Worms (www.bigbitebaits.com) and black Devil's Tongues on drop shot rigs (www.cremelure.com).
Stripers are fair under birds drifting live bait and trolling 1/2 oz. Curb's striper jigs.
White Bass are fair in schools along lake points on 2 inch Lit'l Fishie Shads, Tiny Traps (www.rat-l-trap.com) and Pirk Minnows.

Largemouth are fair upriver aloing bluffs with submerged trees and brush in 6'-12' a black/blue Super Tube Heavy (www.cremelure.com),4" blk/blue Disc Worms (www.bigbitebaits.com) and watermelon/black
flake Senkos (www.canyonlakefishing.com).
Smallmouth are fair 10'-20' along ledges and over rock piles using green flake 3" BBB grubs (www.bigbitebaits.com), watermelon/red Hula
Grubs and Smokin' Green Devil's Tongues on drop shot or split shot rigs.
Stripers are fair trolling chartreuse Curb's Striper jigs and vertically jigging 1/2 oz. Pirk Minnows in 40' of water. Some limited surface activity
using Red Fins and Zara Spooks.
White Bass are good trolling shad raps and vertically jigging Pirk Minnows along the main river channel. Surface action best using 1/8 oz. Tiny Traps
