Canyon Lake - Freshwater Fishing Report

CANYON LAKE: Water clear; 59 degrees; 908.91' :

Largemouth are fair in 8'-15' on ledges and standing

timber on Ice Tea Scoundrel worms (www.cremelure.com) on a "K" Wacky hook (www.falconlures.com), smoke/red Snap Back (www.terminatorlures.com) tubes and smokin' green Devil's Tongues on drop shot rigs. You'll still find some quality fish in the backs of feeder creeks working motion baits like a white/chart. Terminator buzzbait

(www.canyonlakefishing.com) & pitching 1/4 oz. blk.blue

Terminator jigs w/Uncle Josh (www.unclejosh.com) trailers.

Smallmouth are good in 5'-15' over rock piles using chart.

7/16 oz. tungsten (www.terminatorlures.com) spinnerbaits,

bluffs on pearl Whacky Sticks (www.cremelure.com) and brn. hair jigs with a Devil's Tongue (www.canyonlakefishing.com)

trailer.

Stripers are fair on the surface early using white Snap Back jerkbaits on jigheads, Hyper Striper (www.kgenterprise.com) chrome Slap Stiks (www.rat-l-trap.com) and Red Fins.

White Bass fair on Pirk Minnows and 2" Lit'l Fishie Shads.

Crappie are fair in 6'-18' on silver/blue Swirltails, live minnows (www.canyonlakefishing.com) and 1/32 oz. Curb's crappie jigs.

w/Uncle Josh (www.unclejosh.com) pork trailers.

Stripers are fair under birds at on white Snap Back

jerkbaits on jig heads, Slap Stiks (www.rat-l-trap.com) and live bait.

White Bass are fair from Apple Head to the power plant

trolling Shad Raps and casting Tiny Traps and Pirk Minnows.

Crappie are fair in 15'-20' deep on bridge pilings and brushpiles using minnows silver Swirltails (www.cremelure.com)
