Canyon Lake - Freshwater Fishing Report

Canyon Lake: Water gin clear, 78 degrees; 909.97'

Largemouth are good at daylight in 5'-20' outside of stickups and standing timber on white Terminator buzzbaits (www.terminatorlures.com) shad pattern Bleeding Shad 'Traps (www.rat-l-trap.com), Carolina rigged Craw Tubes (www.cremelure.com) and grn-pumpkin Skeet Reese creature baits. Upriver, bass are good early tight to undercut banklines on channel

turns in 8'-12' on wacky rigged Ice Tea Scoundrel worms (www.cremelure.com) on a 3/0 "K" Wacky Hook (www.falconlures.com) & chart-blue back suspending

Fat Free Shad.

Smallmouth are fair early along ledges in 8'-25' on Carolina rigged chartreuse Snap Back tubes (www.terminatorlures.com), Smokin' Green Devil's

Lake LBJ: Water stained; 77 degrees; 82475'

Largemouth are good early to 6 lbs in 3'-12' working blk/blue 1/4 oz jigs (www.terminatorlures.com), blue Bleeding Shad 'Traps (www.rat-l-trap.com). wtrmelon Skip-N-Pop topwaters (www.jdcbaits.com) in & around weed pods. Later, a junebug Whacky Stick (www.cremelure.com) or Texas rigged grn-pumpkin Skeet Reese creature bait or blk-blue 1/4 oz. Terminator rattlin' jig fished under deepwater docks produces.

Stripers are good at night on Spoiler Shads (www.cremelure.com), white bucktails w/ grub trailers and free-lining live bait.

White Bass very good at night and first light on Lit'l Fishies small white grubs and minnows.

Crappie are good at night and early AM in 8'-15' on crappie jigs and live minnows.
