Lake LBJ: Water clear to stained; 51 degrees; 825.96' (full)
This latest cold front will effect bass and crappie for a few days but they'll be back on their feed as soon as the weather stabilizes before the round of cold air moves in. White Bass, already plentiful, should really improve.
Largemouth are only fair along docks, boulders and rip rap in 8'-15' pitching black-purple 1/4 oz. Terminator Pro Series jigs, wacky rigged bubblegum Scoundrel worms, smoke-red JDC Craws and cranking medium chartreuse-blue back crankbaits.
White Bass are good in 14'-26' over humps and along mainlake points and channel breaklines vertically jigging Pirk Minnows and swimming Spoiler Shads.
Crappie are fair to good in 4'-10' on brushpiles, laydowns and docks w/wooden legs using 2" grubs on 1/16 oz. jigheads, 1/32 oz. plastic or hair crappie jigs and minnows.

Lake Buchanan: Water clear; 48-50 degrees; 1013.06' (7' low)
Cold fronts slow the bass bite for maybe a day or two before they go on a feeding binge as the weather stabilizes. On the other hand, cooler water temperatures kick start the stripers and white bass.
Largemouth are sluggish in 8'-25' over brushpiles along bluff ledges using watermelon Devil's Tongues or camo JDC Drop Shot Worms on drop shot rigs and Carolina rigged watermelon-red Snap Back lizards.
Stripers are good from The Willows uplake in 22'-30' drifting live bait, vertically jigging 1/2 oz. silver Pirk Minnows, Albino Snap Back soft jerkbaits rigged on a 3/0 RED Bait Jerker Hook (Falcon Lures) and
trolling 1/2 oz. striper jigs.
White Bass are fair to good w/limits of fish up to 2 lbs. on points at Morgan Creek and from Beaver Creek to Mud Island trolling deep diving Shad Raps, casting 2" Spoiler Shads and jigging 1/4 oz. Pirk Minnows.
