Canyon Lake - Freshwater Fishing Report

Canyon Lake

LARGEMOUTH slow to fair very early and late on Margarita Rat-l-Traps, silver Duh!!!Team jigs, pumpkin Creme Devils Tongues on split shot rigs worked on stumpy flats in 6'-12' and along ledges on deep bluffs.

LAKE LBJ

LARGEMOUTH & SMALLMOUTH are good early and late on pumpkin/flake Creme Devil's Tongues on split shot or Carolina rigs, 1/4 oz. silver Terminator buzzbaits or blue/silver/green Terminator spinnerbaits and Lake Fork Magic Shads worked along rip rap & sandy creek points in 2'-5' next to deep water. During the day look for fish in 8'-20' in or close to brushpiles and submerged trees. Best appraoch these fish with a 6 1/2" watermelon Minnie Bucket lizard or Creme Scremer worm worked VERY slowly. CRAPPIE, CATFISH & WHITE BASS: All good in 16'-20' over brushpiles on Creme Mini Tubes and minnows.
