Canyon Lake - Freshwater Fishing Report

Lake LBJ/Marble Falls

BEST FISHING IS BETWEEN MIDNIGHT AND 8:00 AM. LARGEMOUTH are running along rip rap on seawalls at the mouth of creek channels in 5'-12'. Clients are taking fish up to 7 lbs. on black Terminator buzzbaits or spinnerbaits, red shad Mag Worms and watermelon/chartreuse Lake Fork 5" lizards. BIG WHITE BASS and CRAPPIE are good under lighted docks with brushpiles on white 1/16 Curb's crappie jigs. After daylight locate brushpiles in 16'-25' and work a Creme Devil's Tongue on split shot or Carolina rig.
