Lake Ray Roberts Fishing Report

Lake Ray Roberts is normal level and the water temperature is 87 to 92. The lake is clear in most areas unless the wind has it muddy. White bass are in a strong summer pattern of schooling mornings everyday. We are catching them on topwaters with the best bait being the "Floatin Thing" that I make. Clear Tiny Torpedoes, Pop-Rs, and Chugbugs work good also. We are motoring around the lake looking for schooling activity and then we stop and fish. Some days it takes more looking than others but we have been able to stay on fish the last few mornings by moving around as the bite stops in the area we are in. It is not unusual for the schooling to slow down mid morning and then get good again late morning.

Have fun fishing,

Tim
