Lake Ray Roberts Fishing Report

Lake Ray Roberts - Freshwater Fishing Report

September 23, 2009

Lake Ray Roberts Fishing Report,

Lake Ray Roberts is 16 inches below normal level with water temperature 74 to 77. Fall is in the air in North Texas and the white bass fishing is excellent on Ray Roberts. The topwater schooling is over for the most part but early and late there will still be some fish chasing shad in shallow water mostly on points. Fishing deep on humps, points, roads and ridges in 27 to 40 feet is how to catch a bunch of fish. We are getting limits of solid keepers every trip and catching lots of doubles. The only baits we use for deep sand bass are Cotton Cordell 3/4 oz. CC Spoons in chrome color with a Flies-By-Night chartreuse fly tied 14 inches above the spoon. This week it has been easy to find a good bite going on in different areas of the lake. Give me a call or send me an email if you are looking to catch a bunch of Ray Roberts sand bass this Fall. My weekend days fill up fast this time of year so get with me soon to reserve a date for a fishing trip

Lake Ray Roberts Fishing Forecast:

Fishing will be very good through the end of the year on Lake Ray Roberts for White bass.

Target Species:

White bass
