Lake Ray Roberts - Freshwater Fishing Report

November 15, 2009

Lake Ray Roberts Fishing Report,

Lake Ray Roberts is 1.70 feet over normal level and dropping slowly. Water temperature is 62 to 65 and stained on the main lake and clearing in the creeks. White bass fishing is very good with fish on deep on humps, points, roads and ridges in 22 to 40 feet. The last couple days the best bite has been 35 to 38 feet deep. The only baits we use for deep sand bass are Cotton Cordell 3/4 oz. CC Spoons in chrome color with a Flies-By-Night chartreuse fly tied 14 inches above the spoon. We have a lot of birds on the lake now but they are not always active. Best way to find feeding fish is look on structure with your electronics. Give me a call or send me an email if you are looking to catch a bunch of Ray Roberts sand bass this Fall. My weekend days fill up fast this time of year so get with me soon to reserve a date for a fishing trip.

Have fun fishing,

Tim
