LAKE RAY ROBERTS FISHING REPORT

LAKE RAY ROBERTS FISHING REPORT

The weather in North Texas the last two weeks has not been very fisherman friendly. Lake level is 625.35, down 7 feet from normal pool. Water temperature was 41 degrees to 43 degrees this week after the last cold front. When the main lake water temperature gets below 43 degrees the white bass fishing gets really tough. The fish suspend off of the structure a lot of the time and it is a really light bite when you can get them to bite. The warming trend this week will get the water temperature above 43 degrees and the fish will respond and get active again. The prespawn largemouth bass fishing will improve with this weeks warming trend also. Fish will bite red lipless crank baits slow rolled around grass in the north creeks as this warming trend continues.

Have a good fishing week,

Tim
