Lake Ray Roberts - Freshwater Fishing Report

Lake Ray Roberts Fishing Report

Weather was great today on Ray Roberts and the fishin was good too. Magnum sand bass are in 35 to 40 feet hanging on drop offs. catchin all our fish on Cotton Cordell CC Spoons 3/4 oz. chrome with a Flies-By-Night sea green jig tied 14 inches above the spoon. Water temp was 47 so the fish do not want a lot of action... a couple hops of the spoon and dead stick it 6 inches off of the bottom is getting the most bites. Thanks to the folks pictured below for sharing my last guide trip of 2007 with me. Special thanks to Boston Bob for allowing us to share a hump south of Wolf Island to finish filling the ice chest.

Happy New Years Fishing,

Tim
