The Great Salmon Fishing continues here in Sheboygan

Capt. James Schlegel
June 26, 2012
Sheboygan - Freshwater Fishing Report

The great fishing here in Sheboygan continues. Fished the past few days near the Hetty Taylor ship wreck south of town in 90 to 120 feet of water. We've been consistently catching all the Great Lakes species except the brown trout in the colder water here in Sheboygan. Limit catches are now being caught on almost a daily basis. Deeper downriggers and divers have been taking the majority of our salmon and lake trout. Trolling old school rattlesnakes and wingbats behind planner boards near the surface are producing the rainbows and cohos. This is the best start to any fishing season I've ever experienced here in Sheboygan. I posted several videos of some of this season's fast paced fishing action on my website at:

Target Species:

chinook salmon, coho salmon, rainbow trout, lake trout, brown trout
