Forum Data Corrupted... Now Fixed

Postby admin » Mon Jun 14, 2004 1:24 am

Just a quick note to let everyone know that some ingenious fellow exploited a vulnerability in our Forum and some of our data was corrupted. As a result, we have lost several months worth of data and some more recent users will need to re-register in order to use the Forum.

We have taken this opportunity to upgrade to the latest version of the Forum software available. Some more advanced features – like attachments – have been disabled.

The attachment feature was used primarily for displaying photographs. We would suggest using our new Photo Galley to post/upload your photos and simply link to them by using the tags to display the image within the Forum. Try it. If you need help, drop us a note.

Below is an example of photo linked from the Photo Galley. You can also use the Photo Galley for posting to other Forums...

Sorry for any inconvenience.

Three `Cudas and a snapper. Background perfect. Subject matter focused on the trophy.Man,oh man;someone really did this photo with proffessional touch. It is just about enough to make a man cry to know what these scoundrels will do to a website to collect information or,in a lot of other instances, just to see how much damage they can do. Someone start building more prisons and bring back the chaingangs.
