Can any of you guys give me some tips on were to fish and what to use in North Myrtle Beach, SC area. I will be there the 2nd week of June. I am an avid fly rodder or light tackle fisherman.

Wish I could help with the North Myrtle info. I'm a guide out of Beaufort, SC which is a bit to the south of where you will be. Wish you had chosen the B'fort/Hilton Head area. Cobia fishing is good now and tarpon will be here in mid/late June. Good luck.

My in-laws live there and we visit once a year. It's not my choice!! Thanks for the response though. Just lookin for someone to show me the ropes.

There is no easy place to get to a fishing spot in that area, unless you're a surf caster. The closest inlet or such is at Little River, SC which is just a bit north of your area. I don't know of any guides that work that area, but, there may be one or two.

If you're interested in driving a bit south, about 40 miles, you will be in the Georgetown, SC area and there are lots of inshore areas where you can catch red drum (redfish) and sea trout.
