Trailer corrosion

Postby a1cbandy » Wed Jan 06, 2010 1:37 pm

I have an old Dilly trailer I have all way used it in fresh water never had any rust but just this last year I started going in saltwater. I wash it off with fresh water after every use but it still is corroding? I noticed that most of the rust is near the carpet on the running boards. I think that is hold saltwater and then is dripping. Are there any tricks to slow this process down before my trailer rusts out!?
