I was just trying to get info on sailfishing in march. I am from virginia beach and i was down the first week in jan. and experienced some amazing sailfishing. My spring break is the week of march 8th and i was planning on fishing out of stuart again. From what i gathered when i was down before that the sails would slow but they were still possible to catch. What other offshore game is there at that time, Dolphin, wahoo, etc?!?! last time i was down everyone was so helpful and it was a blast fishing in your waters. any help would be awesome

Jeff, yes the sails are still around in March, but not as many. Cobia would be a good bet that time of year, but I am an inshore capt. so I am not the best person to ask about offshore fishing. I would contact Capt. Rob Gagliardi. Just search on his name on google to find his web site. He is a good offshore Capt. and will be able to tell you what would be around in the greatest numbers. Good luck and Tight-Lines.

March should still provide some decent shots at sailfish – especially if you are flexible with your plans and time your trip on optimal weather conditions.
Another captain with loads of experience in the Stuart area is
Capt Ed Williams. You can find his web site at:
