The fishing in the Lagoon has been a little different. There is so much water (which I have no idea where it's coming from). The hot areas of mid Summer are not holding the large numbers because the Lagoon is fishing more of a Winter pattern with the high water. We are catching fish in the North end on top in the morning and then using a bass fishing technique of running and gunning throughout the day. The average day is still bringing about 7 to 10 reds to the boat, you just have to cover more ground to catch them. There are still plenty of trout to be caught. Check out some of the fish we have catching at www.shakyscharters.com
