Posted: Mon Apr 14, 2003 8:33 amFor the past year, controversy has been bubbling around the anticipated release of Biscayne National Park's proposed fisheries management plan -- a comprehensive document guiding the future of commercial and recreational fishing, crabbing, lobstering, shrimping and spearfishing in park waters.
Park officials presented a document listing various fisheries issues identified in public meetings last year… Fortunately, no-fishing zones are not mentioned in the document.
