Caught a nice 26 inch grouper the other day on my 17, ocean was a little rough for my boat but i had to fish. I also caught a mixed bag of yellowtail flags and amberjack. Made some nice catches in about 90 feet of water drifting pigfish(live) and speedo(Dead) along w/ other dead and live baits- those the most effective. Find a reef in about 50 feet and throw out some chum- the birds will gather and the speedo's will come( I suggest anchoring, I did- and caught tons speedo). Have lots of chum and bring some canned corn to put on you sabiki- i was using a size 10 but you'll have to go bigger, the hooks barely made the cut. I'll might be out of commisiion for a while because of the winter winds but if you could- ii would greatly appreciate it if you kept me posted on the fishing in this area. Thanks!!!!
