Bait

Postby ksriggott » Fri Jan 06, 2006 8:55 pm

I am new to the area and would like to recieve information about catching bait. I live in Palm Beach County, and would like to catch some bait from a bridge. I do not own a boat, but am a avid fisherman. Is there a spot in the area to catch pinfish? I know I can catch Greenies, and mullet from the beach during certain times of the year. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I suppose you know how to use a sabiki rig then if you catch grennies..... You may also catch pin fish on them but you must tip them with a little peice of shrimp or squid.. any grassy area will hold pinners. I am not from that area so am unable to give you more advice but try this and I guarantEE! you will catch pin fish!
Let me know!

Thank you for a response, I will try this method asap. Does the tide have any affect on this approach? Thank you again for the response.

not really...if you can put a chum bag over is a plus but not needed. Sabiki, tipped with small piece of squid and cast it over grassy bottom. 5 ft or so...thats all!
Catch em up!
