Went on a fishing trip to the Tortugas 3/10/06. The boat advertised as a catamaran with speeds of 25 knots, and one of the fastest boats on the east coast. Well that is far from the truth! We did get to our first stop from FT.Myers in good time, but after that they did not move fast until we were on our way back to the dock! We would spend 1 to 2 hours "boating" between stops, and when we did stop the target fish were just above legal size "flags". The only claim to fame they have is lining up behind a shrimp boat, and using their trash as chum. Some quality fish were pulled from this stop, but is that all you have to offer in a trip that costs over $350? I've been on trips to the tortugas before out of Key West (Y.C.), and the quality of fish is no comparison. Its a shame that you cant get what you pay for from some of the charter or drift boats out there. I and everybody that was on that trip were not happy to say the least! Just want to let you know if your looking for a trip to the tortugas that is not a long car ride from your house to the boat, DO NOT USE THE BARNEGAT LIGHT!

Forida Fish Finders out of Key West is the best Dry Tortugas trip you'll ever do. The quality and quantity of fish as well as food plan available is second to none. They are knowledgeable and professional, the boat is clean and comfortable. If you want to fish a great boat, use them. Call 800-878-3474 and ask for Mellissa to book your trip.
