Miami Fishing Report 4/15/11

O.K Let's try to spice things up in here.

Finally, after a long hiatus I was able to splash the ComfortablyDrunk. Myself and a few guys from work took off in search of the afternoon bite last Friday 4/15. First stop was at bug light to gather some live bait. Pilchards were thick, it only took a couple of throws and the livewell was blacked out. Foraging the Pilchards were a good number of Spanish Macks. While catching bait we also landed a few to be use for bait and also to bring home. Next was a stop at a local wreck, where the AJs were relentless. A few drifts yielded our limit plus a few Bonitos and several cut offs.

From there we would finish the trip giving the local YT population a try. Current was ripping but managed to land a few along with a couple of "mistery" fish. All in all a good trip considering we only actually fish for 2-3 hours
