SWFL OFFSHORE Fishing

Postby Capt Dan Medina » Thu Sep 05, 2019 2:40 pm

Now that Hurricane Dorian has passed us by, we can go back to catching some trophies offshore! The red grouper bite has been excellent leading up to the windy conditions and I expect them to continue! Mixed in are some beautiful lane snappers, vermillion, and more.
The brown water from all the run off has made the nearshore fishing on the wrecks and reefs a little slower, so make sure to gert out a little deeper and into cleaner water for the best results!
With the downtime from the windy weather, our vessel, the 33 World Cat "Salty Beast" got a small makeover with some new cushions and bolsters. She looks amazing!

For the month of september, 10% of all trip profits will be donated towards Hurricane Relief efforts in the Bahamas. Those poor folks took a beating and I cant begin to fathom what the are going thru. So if you want to get out on a trip and also give towards a great cause, give me a ring!
