Even though the bait has been very hard to catch the fish have been biting. Big black drum like the one above are all over Tampa Bay's bridge. Crabs are the ticket for these large fish. We caught this one when we saw the school of one thousand fish moving to the bridge.

Snook are still around especially on the beaches near passes. The fish have moved away from Tampa's mangroves out bread for the summer.

Big trout are being caught in the passes and on the beaches. These were my father's favorite fish to eat when I was growing up.

The red fish bite has been very good with multiple trips catching nearly a dozen on each charter. The key for them has been dead bait on the bottom. Red fish are the perfect charter fish. They grow big and pull hard.

We have even had some barracuda appearances.

Fishing has been very good.
