Deep Sea fishing Destin, Fl

Yeah i am coming down to destin in may and going on a 11 hour offshore trip and i was wondering if anyone knew what kind of baits would be best, because i will be going on a party boat i like to use different bait. Preferably a large bait fish of some kind. Also a good rig setup for bottom fishing. And last question i had was were in destin is their to go flounder fishing or pier fishing and whats the best method for fishing for flounder. Thanks Chris Bonatti

That time of year take a couple of boxs of LY's and get an a bait bucket that will hold two or three dozen live pin fish and you will wear them out.

Yea i wanted to say thanks for the tips. But im not clear on what LY's are. And i was also wondering is a sliding egg weight with a swivel and a 70lb leader a good bottom rig or do you have other recommendations.

I also fish the gulf coast over around the Panacea area and that is about what i use.30lb line with 5or6oz sliding sinker and a 7aut hook,i may use 80 to 100lb leader 3to4ft long.This should work.
