I had the pleasure of fishing with my good friend Capt. Joel "Big Red" Wakeland and John Cacioppo, the inventor of the "JusGrabIt Glove". Although the conditions were perfect this morning, the trout refused to bite. We only boated two trout at our first stop, time to move!! We left there and went catch a few reds that we passed up in the bayou on our way there. Went check out a few other locations with no luck. Our last stop is where we made it happen!! Perfectly clean water and falling tide. The trout wanted the bait "dead slow" on the bottom. It was a very soft bite as most fish would just suck up the bait and swim off with it. We had the trout coming in 1-2 at a time until the tide switched. As tough as a day as it was we still ended the day with a nice mess of trout and reds. Every fish caught on plastic baits tight-lined slow on the bottom. Todays fish went 12-15 inch's. Thanks John and Joel for the great company today.

Give me a call to book your next trip.
