Jeff & Michael Ackermann, Don & Blake Brasseaux from Lafayette joined me today for a good day of fishing. Our first stop found the shrimp being chased out the water by the hungry yellow-mouths. The guys had the fish coming in from every direction!!! We boxed 40 good trout before being run off by the approaching storms. We hunkered down for a while then were off running again. We found 12 more trout to put the count to 52 then called it a day as there were storms all around us. Everyhing caught on various artificial baits as usual. The two boys had a blast reeling in the trout two at a time on the tantem rigged chubs! Thanks guys for a great day.
