We fished on Saturday Feb. 27, 2004 with much success and anticipation. Jeff and all of the guys made the bus ride down from Atlanta. We had a good day catching 11 Amberjacks, some of nice Triggerfish and Bee-liners, plus a nice Grouper. The weather finally broke to bright sunshine, 65 degrees and flat calm seas about noon and made for a very enjoyable outing. We had a good 400 pounds today and really had a good time. With only 8 hours under our belt the group decided that they had plenty of fish for supper at Calypso’s and were ready to get back in time to eat and start the evening festivities. It is days like this with appreciative customers that remind me of why I chose such a profession! If you are interested in a trip please let me know. Fishing is as good offshore as I have seen in a long time. If you are looking for a good early season trip give me a call. I still have some Saturdays open from now until the second week of April.
