Trout Slam & Red Slam 9-24-13

Postby Capt Marty » Fri Sep 27, 2013 12:39 am

Beau Delatte, Chase Lavigne, and Kenny Siears joined me today. Leaving out of The Reel Inn Dularge at daybreak, we found the trout stacked up at our first stop. Endura shrimp and Green Hornet Matrix Shad under corks had the trout coming in almost every cast. Once the tide slowed down so did the bite. All it took was a short move and we found shrimp skipping the water all around the boat with the specks chasing. It was on again every cast for a good 30 minutes. We hit a couple other spots then switched gears to redfish. In no time we had the drags singing!! Green Hornet on gold Spinners and gold spoons in the shallows are the ticket right now. We hit two nice schools of reds and had double and triple hookups!! It was a awesome sight to see and my crew were loving every minute of it. We left the reds biting and called it a day. Thanks again guys and I look forward to your return.

The trout are defiantly showing their presence inshore, so give me a call to get your trips booked before you miss out!!!
