WEATHER WEATHER
A we all know weather fronts filled the texas coast and offshore waters during April really had to pick our days and as predicted it was a wild month eather filled with sun shinning days and high winds or terrific rain storms with wind afterwards.

Galveston bay For April

April was filled with Galveston Bay trips catching bull reds, slot reds, big black drum were found during the drum run in Galveston. Bay Sharks were starting to come in have their young,. All and all was a pretty descent month for fishing if you could weather the choppy waters and hit the jetties. It really was a good time.

Galveston and Freeport fishing offshore for opening season April 21,2007

As predicted 21st. brought in high winds 15-20knts.
22 Bad weather
25- we gave it a go. Rough but, as I say there are some.
Brought in full limits of snapper and 4 grouper, 1 smallish 4' shark,
28-Me and Captain Dan seperate boats
Both boats brought in limits of snapper and Dan managed to find the only ling in close right just over legal, no kingfish,or spanish macks yet.
I did some trolling and didn't pick up anything but, still have maybe 1week to go before the preditor fish come in.
These are:
Shark,wahoo,kingfish, 3 major preditor fish

May
May 1 -is starting to warm the water
Lots of Bay sharks very small, redfish are still good, trout close to the rocks.
May 4,5,6 - still watching the winds

Please remember we don't run when it says 15-20knts you may see 3-4 but, I assure you it is around 5-6' with winds factered in.
Till the weekend
