June 17- July 3-2008

Fishing has really turned on ! we have been bring in trout, whiting, ratreds(smaller redfish 3 a person) some BIG gafttop catfish, sharks from the Jetties. From offshore all our boats are bringing in sharks, ling, red snapper, kingfish, Trippletail should start showing around soon. Been seeing alot of Tarpon Capt.Dan hooked into a Big one but, Broke off would have made a excellent photo shot! We've been bringing in some nice mahi nothing huge but, good fighting size. Haven't brought in alot of wahoo this year. Now out on Bluewater 65-80 miles Captain dan is bringing in some big amberjack, sharks, kingfish, ling, you name it he got a sailfish the other day photo is on photo2 of the website really beautiful fish (catch and Release)grouper are still comming in also. Blackfin at Boomvang are still there Captain Dan brought in 72 a few days back so are some huge amberjack and sharks. Remember we don't run in 4'
seas.

July 4-July 10

Congradulations to Captain Marc's cat boat for placing 3rd place in the Fishing Fiesta in Freeport Win was Kingfish division Brought in and Caught by Ms. Benni at a respectfully 38lbs she was awarded a trophy and 200 bucks WAY TO GO ! In the meanwhile the boats from galveston are bringing in some nice fat ling, and the amberjack as of the 10th are comming in at around 71 miles.Seems the amberjack are there if you are willing to pay for the run out just name how big you want the bigger the fish the deeper you want to go,blackfin is still holding at boomvang under the lights,Kingfish are everywhere and snapper has been right on it. The grouper has been holding in a good numbers out deep around 80-82 miles out, Seems the rigs are not holding amberjack as much kinda hit and miss, the sharks are still everywhere mostly blacktip and spinners, a bull here and there. Been having some powerful afternoon storms so the boats are hitting dock early around 1-3:00pm.
