The first annual Red October redfish tournament is scheduled to kick off at The Dock in Gulfport, MS on October 31-November 1. The fishing tournament offers over $10,000 in chash and prizes.

Thanks for the information,but the cold w4eather and high winds contuned to make fishing tough for local anglers. Water temperatures flummeted on the shallow watger reefs and wrecks, slowing grouper fishing for the hardy agnleers willling to get wet and bounced around. A few keepers have been taken, but most have been slow.
